Siege of Herons II as a work in progress. This painting is in it’s very early stages with the composition just completed and the design starting to develop. At this stage I am still working out where to bring lines and arcs through the painting while building up the reeds in the background. I thoroughly enjoyed painting the first version of Siege of Herons a couple of years ago and felt it was time to explore the idea again. The first painting sold at it’s first showing so I expect the second version to be just as popular. The painting can be reserved at this stage although I may enter into exhibitions in the U.S so it may not be available until later in the year.
