Puffin Sketch
Although Alison is best known for her abstract puffin paintings she still likes to occasionally paint in a traditional style. Puffin sketch is an oil study of puffin behaviour on the edge of The Wick on Skomer Island. The background is the sheer face of The Wick where guillemots, kittiwakes and razorbills nest each spring. It makes a striking contrast to the puffins in full sun.
